Black squares are indoor air temperature, main residence building, °F; open squares are outdoor air temperature, °F; black diamonds are interior surface heat flux, living/dining area, main residence building, north half of east wall, Btu/h ft²; open diamonds are exterior surface heat flux, same point. Btu/h ft². Positive values of heat flux correspond to the flow of heat into the concrete surface (heat stored), and negative values correspond to heat flow out of the concrete surface (heat released from storage).
